What happens when your product has an authentic, rustic, raw and organic aesthetic to it? Well it might just find itself a whole new niche…..
With more and more Australian businesses embracing organic in their ingredients, processes and brand ethos it is no surprise that they are also looking for fitting ways to convey those organic values in their physical presence.
So when a wholesale food company called us to say they loved the look and feel of our Farmer’s Market Cubby House and wanted to replicate the natural qualities and charm on their up coming exhibition stand, we were definitely up for the job.
Sydney based wholesale food company Lotus and Ming are in the process of rebranding their business, with a renewed focus on organic they wanted to convey the ethos in their stand at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre trade only event Fine Food .
Working closely with Greer from Innate Design we brought their existing exhibition stand from a contemporary all white style to a rustic, organic, black, white and raw timber stand. We brought in our trademark timber cladding, servery style windows, colourful awning, recycled hardwood timber frames for the signage and raw timber boxes for products. We added the top riser section and boxes for the plants and Jon cleverly made the two stand tables to fit product and stools for sitting.
The stand has been heaped with compliments from exhibitors and customers at the exhibition and Karen from Land of Plenty (the rebranded Lotus and Ming) is over the moon with the results.
We are totally in love with this stand also. It has turned out exactly as we had hoped and we couldn’t be prouder of our work. Especially given the amount of all nighters we pulled to make it happen on time, we also had our own event at One Fine Baby bump in on the SAME day!
We are certainly not heading into the realms of exhibition stand design and creation, we are pretty happy with our focus being on sustainable kids play spaces. I wanted to share this story as it talks to our desire and ability to work with other businesses and events that want to push the organic and recycled ethos as well as aesthetic. We would like to work with more brands and events that have a focus on kids and families and who want to create beautiful, rustic, organic and raw spaces for their brands to shine and for families to enjoy.
