Transform your school’s outdoor environment into a functional and engaging space for students, teachers and staff. Designed with flexibility and adaptability in mind, these modular shade structures create comfortable, good-looking areas wherever you need them.

Pick a 1, 2 or 3- bay section or a combination of a few. The versatile structures can be configured in the way that best suits your site. Optional side screens provide additional shade and also allow you to control egress around your shaded area, clearly defining areas for learning, connection and play.

We build our shade structures using a high-quality, hardwearing sustainable timber that looks great in all conditions. The mesh canopy is made from a durable, long-lasting fabric that also provides UV protection.

Installation is easy with the user-friendly design that can be assembled on site by a small team of people. Installation by our team is also available in select areas.

Roofing:
Shade Only, Constructed from MGP10 LOSP Treated Pine with 90% UV Rated PVC Mesh

Posts and Walls Panels:
Cypress Pine Posts with water-based bitumen coating for in ground protection, Thermally Treated Spruce Pine, PVC Foam Board (blackboard component).

Footings:
Formed in place Concrete Footings
*NOTE: concrete is not included for DIY install customers. You will need approx 0.2 m3 per post.

Depending on selection:
* Cypress support posts as depicted (tarred ends for in-ground protection)
* Timber 'roof' framing and components
* 90% UV block shade cloth canopy over each bay
* Slatted thermory spruce batten screens (if option selected)
* Blackboard (if option selected)
* All fixings and hardware

You will need: A power drill, ladder, shovel, level, measuring tape, and an extra pair of hands.

We provide robust instructions to ensure a smooth installation process, and full, detailed PDF instructions will be sent to you prior to delivery.

Additionally, should you need any assistance during assembly, our installation team are readily available for troubleshooting over the phone.

If you purchased a raw (unpainted or unsealed) product:

We recommend oiling or sealing your product before use to enhance its durability and protect it from the elements. Oiling helps lock in colour and provides a barrier against moisture and weathering.

However, this is not a permanent solution—ongoing annual maintenance is required to keep your product in top condition. Regular oiling or sealing will help prolong its lifespan and maintain its appearance.

If you purchased a painted or sealed product from us:

No immediate action is needed! Your product is already sealed for protection, but annual maintenance is still recommended. Over time, exposure to the elements may cause natural wear, so periodic touch-ups or reapplications will help keep it at its best.
