Sandpits

Sandpits have been a big part of many people's childhoods, as they were a place for many to express themselves creatively as they played with the piles of sand.

This creative expression is known as play-based learning, where children interact and experiment with their surroundings to learn various important skills.

Learning Through Sensory Play

Sensory play is an incredible way for children to learn and grow through exploration, discovery, and curiosity. It's all about engaging their senses and letting their imagination run wild. When kids dive into sensory play, they not only have fun, but they also develop essential skills like problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. These skills become building blocks for their future success, helping them excel in various aspects of everyday life.

At our facility, we've put a lot of thought into designing our sandpits to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children. We want kids to be able to play and collaborate with each other without the risk of getting hurt. While we suggest that children under the age of 4 avoid being inside the sandpit, we still encourage them to participate from the outside under adult supervision.

* All of our buildings are made from sustainably sourced materials, as we believe in looking after nature, as it is something that can be used to learn from and connect with.

Learning Through Sensory Play

Sensory play also promotes and encourages children to learn through exploration, discovery, and curiosity while also using their imagination, creativity, and problem solving skills to handle challenges. Developing these connections early in a child's life leads to significant benefits over the long term, allowing them to excel more in everyday life.

We have meticulously designed our sandpits to ensure kids are able to safely play and collaborate with each other without being hurt. Though we would still suggest avoiding letting children under the age of 4 from being inside the sandpit, we encourage you to allow them to play from the outside with adult supervision.
