Portable Chalkboards

We build our chalkboard frames from thermory spruce (or ‘Thermally-Modified Spruce Wood’) for indoor or permanent outdoor positioning. This is a non-toxic commercial treatment process that is used to improve wood’s material properties, including its dimensional stability and biological resistance. You can leave raw to let it grey off, or oil it to retain its rich colour.

The chalkboard itself is made from a fully recyclable composite material, for either indoor or outdoor use, and will not warp or splinter. The surface is hard, smooth, and perfect for laying down chalk.
